Nice to meet you — we’re Daria and Maria.

Maria discovered knitting in 2020, during the quiet months of the pandemic. Daria followed in 2021. What began as a gentle way to slow down soon became a deep and lasting passion for both of us. Our paths crossed in 2024.

At the time, Daria was running a Russian-speaking knitting channel on YouTube and had founded a community in Germany for Russian-speaking knitters, a space for exchange, inspiration and connection. Maria joined in search of exactly that: shared passion, creative dialogue and a sense of belonging.

Messages turned into conversations. Conversations into a meeting. And from the very first moment, it felt familiar, as if we had known each other long before.

What connected us went beyond knitting, yet led us deeper into it.

In our search for exceptional yarns that combine outstanding quality with accessibility, we discovered coned yarn through the international knitting community; honest, refined, and unlike conventional skeins. At the time, it was scarcely available in Germany, and rarely in the range we envisioned.

So we traveled to Italy. Not only to view stock, but to build trust, form partnerships, and secure quality, standards we stand behind without compromise.

What began over brunch grew through shared conversations, friendship, and community into a common vision.
